TPG are looking for an Intern to be part of our growth and to support the TPG team. This is an exciting role that will give you experience of most aspects of business and gives you real prospects for the future.
You will have undertaken one or two 3 to 6 month internships previously and understand what “working in an office” is all about, but now you are ready to step into an internship that will give you real prospects and give you responsibility.
If you thought working in the packaging industry was anything but exciting, you would be wrong, for 16 years TPG have been creatively developing packaging solutions for some of the biggest manufacturing companies in the world.
From our base in South East London our projects have included:-
A ‘wow’ pack for a new action camera.
Ovenable long life meal packs.
Developing and implementing cost reductions and efficiencies.
The primary functions and key to the role is to manage the “client project datasheets” on Microsoft Excel and suggesting improvements to these and maintain the individual Project Plans.
However, in addition the role will liaise with clients regularly, be involved in the creative process to find solutions for the clients and work with suppliers and other stakeholders and attend conferences and exhibitions on behalf of TPG.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to take and input raw data, and manipulate it through the use of the macros, different types of tables and formulae.
A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Articulate, able to hold your own in conversations with third parties.
An ability to work on own, at times you will be the only person in the office.
A second language would be preferable – eg. French, Spanish.
‘A’ Level maths or a recognised statistics qualification
