TPG has seen a dramatic increase in project work in Asia since announcing our operation in Thailand two years ago.
During the past twelve months the following work has successfully been completed:
A review and solution project has been undertaken for an international yarn manufacturer identifying savings in both packing times and rationalization of packaging. This has resulted in potential savings in excess of 28%. These savings are now in the process of being realised before a roll out to other factories in the region.
Surveys at two sites in China manufacturing high quality furniture were completed recently offering a full solution to their packaging methods and designs. The next stage is now being considered.
A trip on behalf of our customer was undertaken to optimize, agree and advise settings for heat sealing machinery for food packing. This was successfully completed allowing the customer to take delivery of the machinery and move onto the next stage of the project.
A two-day visit was carried out to the Pack Print International exhibition in August 2013 fulfilling our commitment to the region. This will ensure we have a complete picture of current and future developments in the SE Asia packaging world.
